129 : I affirm you

When I heard this word used (& overused) in 2022, I wondered why? Why was this popping up in coffee shops? On the political scene? In churches?

When something so quickly takes over so easily, I'm a bit 🤔🤔🤔

So, what does this heavily used word mean? Let's dig into the definition of today & of course, the OG one!

Do I affirm you? I guess you'll have to listen to find out 😉

In today’s episode, I discuss…

[4:20] The question that got my wheels spinning

[5:12] My reference for learning is Websters 1828 (or the Bible)

[8:05] I’m not always in favor of, or supportive of, but I love them

[9:42] By today’s definition, I don’t affirm anyone

[9:57] Jesus wouldn’t affirm me…under today’s use of the word affirm

[11:58] Under the modern use, I don’t affirm any one of you
